Geaux Overhead Door was started in West Monroe in October 2020 by Wade Greene Jr. Today we run two shops, a handful of trucks, and a team that shows up when it says it will.

Our story

Started with one truck and a promise.

Professional. Affordable. Reliable. That was the tagline on day one, and it is still the test we hold every job to.

Wade Greene Jr. spent years installing and repairing doors for other people before opening Geaux Overhead Door in October 2020. The idea was simple: do the work right the first time, tell people the truth about what their door needs, and answer the phone when they call.

Word got around. By 2023 the company was a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating, and in May 2024 we opened a second shop on Highway 33 in Ruston so Lincoln Parish customers could get the same response times as our Ouachita Parish customers.

Most of the garage door industry is being bought up by private equity. We are not for sale. When you call Geaux, you get a local company whose owner still measures doors and answers reviews.

Nobody on our crew earns more by selling you a bigger repair. They earn more by doing good work that gets referrals.

The price before the work, every time

On a repair the technician gives you the number on the spot and you approve it before the work starts. New doors and major projects get a written quote. If we find something else once we are into a job, we stop and talk to you first.

Real parts, real doors

We install Garaga, Amarr, ASTA America, and Janus International doors and LiftMaster openers. We stock what we sell.

Wade still runs estimates and answers the phone more than a company owner probably should. James, Hayden, and Dylan run most of our service and installation calls, and you will see their names in our reviews because customers remember them.

Everyone on the truck is background checked, trained on the doors and openers we install, and dressed in Geaux orange so you know who is at your door.
