Garage Door Technician and Installer

Full-time · West Monroe or Ruston

Repair and install residential and commercial garage doors and openers out of one of our two shops. Most days are a mix of service calls and installations across Northeast Louisiana.

What you will do

Diagnose and repair doors and openers: springs, cables, rollers, panels, tracks, and LiftMaster openers.
Install new residential doors and commercial sectional and rolling steel doors.
Price repairs on site and explain the work to the customer before starting it.
Keep the truck stocked and the job site clean, and represent the company well at every stop.

What we look for

A valid driver's license and a driving record that lets us put you on the insurance.
Comfortable on ladders and able to handle heavy door sections and spring assemblies safely.
Mechanical aptitude. Garage door, construction, or other trade experience is a plus, and we train on the doors and openers we install.
Reliable, on time, and straight with customers.

Front Desk and Office Administrator

The first voice a customer hears. Answer the phones, schedule service calls and installations, keep the records straight, and help with invoicing.

What you will do

Greet customers and vendors and answer incoming calls, taking accurate messages.
Schedule service calls, estimates, and installations, and confirm appointments.
Enter customer information and keep the files, digital and paper, in order.
Assist with invoicing, recording payments, and keeping office supplies stocked.

What we look for

A professional phone manner and good customer service instincts.
Organized, accurate, and able to keep several things moving at once.
Comfortable with a computer and office software. Scheduling or dispatch software experience is a plus.
Monday to Friday during shop hours.
